From the Founder's Pen

Hello! I am glad you stopped by. I am sure you’d be a little acquainted to RAS by now. It was one of those ventures which happened in the most unexpected way—thanks to a personal crisis, a freelance contract, and a bit of luck. What started as a single project in mid 2014, quickly snowballed into something bigger, and by the end of that year, we were a small but determined team, ready to take on the world with fresh ideas and boundless energy.

My journey into the pharmaceutical industry? Not exactly planned. In 2001, when the internet bubble burst, I took a leap of faith into the Pharma world. I spent the next decade gathering a diverse set of skills - clinical operations, clinical research, management consulting and strategy support. In 2014, I took the plunge into freelancing, and RAS was born! The early days were a bit like a quirky band of adventurers—forming, storming, norming and performing all at the same time. We didn’t just tackle projects, we embraced them. We quickly established the habit of collective reviews, ensuring that every idea was chiselled and polished to the best of our abilities. And yes, the first few years were a rollercoaster! But here’s the secret: we didn’t just survive, we thrived by embracing our mistakes, learning, and always pushing forward. Fail-forward, as we like to say! At RAS, we keep it simple: teamwork and commitment to fresh perspectives. Our goals? To be the trusted peers of our global clients, and to be known for our analytical rigor and captivating storytelling. Proud of our roots, we’re here to establish that India-based agencies can break the mould and lead the world of life science consulting with confidence.
